True, particularly once you've used it a couple of times, but driving the "wrong" way round that middle roundabout is a bit uncomfortable the first time and I have plenty of friends (I used to live in Aylesbury) who drive a long way to avoid this thing so I suppose it depends on your attitude to driving too.

tbh I hadn't realised I was approaching the 2k mark. I just happened to notice when I was on 1999!
I've not done many fell races for a while due to injury, but am cautiously making a return via trail-y events and long, slow distance (Rosedale Ultra next week).
Piriformis still giving me some gyp, must keep up the stretches and neural glides...
