Good event today - thanks to Preston for staging it. Ran about where I expected without having to overdo it - 69:01 and got pipped by WPette who had a super run in her first 10 miler about 15 secs in front of me.

Good to say hello to Daz the Slug who had a good run - and as he said - as least he beat Tom, who's Turbo didn't kick in today

Yes a great event, plenty of marshals, great weather, very flat. Managed 58'42" which I'm chuffed about! Cheers Preston.

Good to say hello to WP today - did you let WPette beat you, or could you've out-kicked her if you'd tried?

my pleasure to give TurboTom a lift today - a much misunderstood young man! - I'll let him explain how he came to DNF a road race

I managed to improve my PB by 2mins to 1:25:53 - would've liked to've done a bit better and at least crack 1:25, but can't complain really
