I totally agree (ban all drinking before matches - sadly impossible to police) but why do Italian/Spanish police also turn into animals too when English teams are involved? -I've not read/heard the whole story on the Spurs match but witnesses saw a Spanish Policeman allegedly hit a wheelchair-bound Spurs fan so hard he was knocked out of his chair.Originally Posted by daz h
It's a fairly regular occurence in domestic Italian football too, it's just that you don't hear about it so much.
Having said that, there's no smoke without fire and the police are not going to start charging into the stands for no reason.
