    Fell Running Books for Sale

Fireside Bookshop in Windemere has a few books about fell running.

Prices are twice the real value so best bet would be to negotiate much lower prices by telephone or visit the shop.

    e.g.

Wild Trails to Far Horizons (£40.00 worth £20.00)

The Long Hard Road (paperback, two volumes £100.00, worth £50.00)

    Running High (£35.00 worth £20.00)

Across Scotland on Foot (£9.50 available new for £5.95 from the Publisher Grey Stone Books)

You can buy running high for cheaper than that brand new! My sis bought me it.

I presume its the hugh symonds one, right?

If anyone wants to borrow it.... postage might be a bit though...

Yes, this is the first edition of the Hugh Symonds book.

There is a second edition in paperback available now from the usual sources:

e.g. Amazon ABE (5 copies - all first editions) Blackwell Biblion

The first edition in hardback seems rather good value from Fireside!

The demand for books about fell running appears to be pushing prices up!
