Midweek Training Runs or Walks
Having achieved voluntary redundancy, I am now preparing for my challenge of completing the 550 mile GR10 traverse of the Pyrenees which I start next June. Therefore I am looking to get regular runs or walks, preferably in the Lakes and have most of the week free. (I am also planning to complete a years teacher training PGCE from September so I'll be quite busy preparing for that as well).
If there is anyone who would like to carshare for days in the Lakes (or Howgills) from the Bolton or nearby area please PM or email me (or phone - it's very easy to find my phone number).
I'm also doing suitable LDWA walks - there's one from Kettlewell tomorrow that has 4000ft of ascent.
As far as pace goes, anyone who knows me will know that I'm a tail-end charlie but I would hope to get back to 6 hour Hobble next March.
