Frequent but moderate workouts on a consistent basis are the key to success
a little scattering in Kendal earlier today but sunny now
Nothing in the South Midlands but the lovely sunshine has just been replaced with blanket greyness.
edit - ten minutes later. It's snowing
2nd edit - All the cloud has headed off towards south Wales and left us with the sun again.

Coming down nice and heavy in Harrogate.
The only one who can tell you "You can't" is you. And you don't have to listen.
A long time ago I was driving back from my then in-laws in Harrogate to my then home in Todmorden with the first Mrs Splatcher. The snow came down heavier & heavier, & by the time we got to Hebden Bridge everything ground to a halt as a bus got stuck on the hill going west out of town. We parked up in about 8 inches of snow & walked up the hill to my mum's house in Heptonstall. That was the night Halifax police station was filled with stranded motorists overnight. Tell the younger generation that, & they won't believe you. We lived in a shoebox at th'edge o't' canal. Mind you, Tod's still pretty much like that. Gravel for breakfast -delicious.
