Hi,
My club want to be able to set up an online file share so that images of runners/races etc can be centrally stored and shared. some form of searching by runner name etc would be useful as would some kind of authentication to restrict access to registered members. I did suggest facebook but some club members are facebook phobic.
Any ideas?

You can use picasa for this. Check out its features on http://picasa.google.com/features.html
Google Groups should be able to do everything and more. The Group can be 'closed' so that invites are need to be able to join it and no-one else can find it.
