    optimum spacing of studs

Me and Christopher were debating last night what the optimum spacing of studs on a Walsh is? As I'm just a goat and have hooves for maximum grip I'm not sure. I'd have thought that there's a trade off between more studs for grip, and less studs to prevent clogging?

Don't tell him, but I'm planning on getting a pair of custom made Walshes with perfect stud placement for his chrissy present. I've emailed Norman and Bland and they're up for a challenge to see if their classic and near perfect design can be bettered. We might well get a small limited edition run in pink to match those appalling vests that the ponies wear. Although frankly the idea of a club named after those halfwit four legged beasts is nonsense. Everyone knows we goats are the master of the mountains.

I remember once being on a Spanish climbing holiday and watching a mother goat trying to coax her offspring up a polished v.diff chimney so they could be safe for the night - amazing.

Nice idea mr Benn, spread those studs out. That way we can have maximal pick of the women without conflict
