    I dont want to sicken you off but have you allowed for the fact that the finish was not in the same place as normal?
    The race traditionaly finishes in the Rugbly Club car park a minute or so further .

    Still a pb for me...I was faster by 3 minutes and it takes about 50-60 seconds to get to the carpark from the new finish because I always manage a sprint finish! :thumbup:

    great condition today with forecasted rain keeping off.
    ran steady to capt cooks then put the hammer down! no one passed me to the finish.
    well done to dave p and all the volunteers.

    A week to go before this years event.

    I had intended to build up over the winter for this, but a few injuries mean that the reality is I have a mere three weeks training under my belt.

    A slow steady plod is now on the cards and hopefully I will scrape in under the two hour mark.
