The weather looks pretty good acc to mwis, although yes the winds will be cold. THe fleeces will be coming out, as will the buffalo if need be...

Indeed they will, as well as energy sapping, but that will all add to the fun!!

Thats what a winter round is all about, achieving an immense endurance goal in uncompromising conditions, and taking the well deserved recognition for completion.

Thanks everyone.

Thing i'm most worried about is the ground conditions. Water ice, verglas etc. However, Clive King has been up to have a look at Broad Stand and has texted me to say it's ok and that there was no water ice that he could see. Just worried about hitting an unseen icy bit in the dark on a descent.....

Packing all done now, all that remains is to quietly brick myself for a while....
