Yes, they look good. Nice to see local lad Rashid in among things.

Yes, a glorious century in tricky conditions under immense pressure. You have to hand it to him - unless you're English that is. Let's see how our batsmen do against their attack now. It's finely balanced. Also a test for the Aussie bowlers to exploit English conditions. I see they dropped Starc and Hazelwood - a bold move.

The loss of Jimmy Anderson to injury was probably crucial as England ran out of ideas. With him likely out of the attack for the second innings and Australia now with a reasonable total on the board, it will be difficult to win from here.

Seemed a strange decision to select him when he was not 100% and was lacking match practice.

Only the weather forecast could save us losing this one.

So 2-0 down with 3 to play. (Always lose at lords)

The selectors will be wishing they'd gone for Jofra Archer now. At least he is a ready made replacement for the next test.

I'm not so sure. A good day's batting today could put England in a great position. Of course, that's easier said than done. Let's see how much my words come back to haunt me by this evening. I'm thinking 290-6 by the close, with Stokes still in. Is that unrealistic?
