I think it's fair to say Australia deserved it.
As a side note, I was interested to hear Andrew Flintoff talking about the ball tampering affair. He said the bowlers must have known the ball was being tampered with. His words were something along the lines of "you know if you're Mitchell Starc you're not suddenly going to turn into Wasim Akram" - which I took to mean that bowlers who never normally get reverse swing but then miraculously develop the ability must know something's going on.
Anyway, that's not sour grapes. Well done to Australia - winning an ashes series away from home is a great achievement.

He deserves it for his cricketing achievements. It always seemed strange to me that he hadn't got it at the end of his career - his stats are astonishing. I can only think it's because he's so disagreeable and outspoken.
