Anderson back and good bowling all round.
Couple of slip catch drops but steady performance by England

Looking like a draw after only only 85 overs after 3 days.

    36!!

That's the lowest test total for 65 years. And they had a first-innings lead!

Some amusing Sri Lankan batting this morning. This after they won the toss and elected to bat!

I've just listened to the final ten overs of the Australia India series. Yesterday evening, India needed 328 to win on the final day against a bowling attack that had bowled them out for 36 earlier this series. Against the world's best bowler, Pat Cummins. At the Gabba, where Australia haven't lost for ages, and the highest ever successful fourth innings run chase is about 270.

I woke up and turned the radio on to hear they needed something like 50 to win off 50 balls with five wickets in hand. "Will they go for it?" By the time I'd dressed and gone downstairs, they needed 36 off 44 balls, having taken 14 from a single Nathan Lyon over.

They ended up winning by three wickets. What an amazing victory to win the series.

England 112 all out after winning the toss and electing to bat. Eek!

I'm just reading my last message in the this thread. Maybe this Indian team is pretty good. They seem to have a lot of belief and resilience.

Of course England will get loads of flak, but the opposition are allowed to be good too.

    Indeed, India were very good.

Just a shame that Joe Root chose to blame bad umpiring rather than accept that India were too good for them.
Visibility good except in Hill Fog
