This traditional festive blast is happening this year. Same arrangements as usual; register and park at the OldGrammar School at the top of Stock Ghyll Lane, Ambleside (GR 384044). Race starts at 12 noon at the bottom of Stock Ghyll Lane, in town.

Prizegiving, drinks and mince pies will be available for runners down at the Lakes Runner shop in Ambleside after the race.

mmmmm!! I did Blisco a couple of years ago, camped over after a few beers, then went to Kendal office the following day. That's the time when Alsoran forgot his sleeping bag ~ if you've not heard that story just ask him, I'm sure he'd love to tell it again
