It was good to see K&C upholding the honour of the white rose (where were the Wharfedalers?) with Steve Brock winning. Clayton's Mapper came in 2nd and Ali and Mike were 3rd and 4th - flying the Bowland flag!

Well how come ali and mapper could not find the second summit if they are locals, it was bloody freezing running round after them up there.

I don't think Mapper was amongst the band of 'wanderers'.

Thing is - I'd already been to the top - successfully - before the race for warm-up!

    Doh!!

Would appear that it's not just the accent that's different on t' other side of the Pennines Ali but also the definition of a warm up Dread to think how you warm down!

Only me and Steve Brock went straight to the summit (the optimum route). I think all the next 5 or 6 kept to the wall (wimps ) as when we both turned at the summit we saw them coming in from that direction. From the top both Steve & myself ran off together as he wasn't sure of the route back. Once we got within sight of the wall he shot off and beat me by 2 minutes ~ fit lad.
