Thanks for your offer of help. I have pacers for those legs now but you're welcome to join me if you'd like to for the experience. There is also the chance that things will change and people might have to drop out.

I'm going to recce Broad Stand some time around Easter (weather permitting) to see if I can stomach it. If not it'll be Foxes Tarn.

Is it ok to put you down for leg 3?

Going up Broad Stand was a big mistake for DazH and I. It was very wet, slippery and hard going despite being belayed and cost us in total about 30 minutes. I would go via Foxes Tarn if I was going round again as it's more predictable.

I am very happy for you to keep me on the reserve list for support in case anyone drops out last minute - I can get there at short notice and am happy navigating Leg 1 if needed. I'll be doing plenty before then. My round was in 2007 and have supported a few since then. We (Eden Runners & co.) can usually muster a few helpers at short notice if needed. I'll be very cautious about this one. I've tested the tarn route and know it's ok but I don't much care for the descent to the start of it. Broad Stand remains a tentative option until I've recced it, and will definitely be down as a good conditions only option.
