A good race to watch but I am not sure the photos show quite how humid the conditions were last night. A couple of good reports on the blogs - thanks for those.

Great race, thought I was going to konk out on the second climb, but managed to hang in there. Good effort by the locals, and thanks to Des for the organisation. Got to say, I loved all the jumping over gates, made for an excellent race. if you're bored at work, or there is nothing to watch on the tele, have a quick scan of the now traditional post wednesday night run blog thinghttp://globaltherapies.blogspot.com/...ormstones.html(yes steve, you do get a mention)

I really enjoyed this race last night and well worth the effort of the drive over from Nottingham, although i think one of the women came up from Reading?

She runs for Reading Road-Runners (or similar) but she'd only come from Cheadle (Manchester). Don't worry, she'll be running for Pennine soon!

Great race last night, I really enjoyed it, better than some Championship races. By the way BaBa some old guys can and do read.

And some old guys can run VERY fast - well done Mike!

No worries Steve. I half thought thats what you were there to do... catch people who overshoot the wall. I wasnt expecting the fence thing to be so slack and it was a bit of a shock to not be supported by anything as I plunged into a bit of an unexpected void.
