    Re: Overweight to Race-weight

I am going to be 72Kg (so up a Kg). I have cut down the running after helping out on the BG a month ago but not the munching. I will start ramping up the training again for Dazh's race next month so hopefully that will help.

    Re: Overweight to Race-weight

Having managed to do a three day Bob Graham Round reccying weekend followed by a week running the Cornish coast path (140miles and 22,000' in 7 days) and still not lost weight (there were a lot of cream teas, beer and cake involved!), I'm taking things more seriously now and am counting calories properly for a bit. I am trying My Fitness Pal to record online my exercise and calorie consumption with the view that writing it all down will stop me kidding myself and also give me an awareness of what areas of my diet need sorting out. My weight has gone up to 139 1/2 pounds so it is time to get serious

Hes I used myfitnesspal to calorie count and it forced me to record things properly (in an easy way) and stop being in denial and then I lost some weight!
