I going to get this one in
See yu there
It looks great out there at the moment in Leeds, but the forecast on BBC is wet, windy and misty. I'd settle for last year's weather.
It will be good to see you there jamie
I have all the kit required but would welcome some advice on the choice of footware.
Has anyone an tips as this will be my first fell.
I run 10ks in approx 45 to 48 minutes.
No tarmac, all fell so 'proper' fell shoes are the best option on this one. Quite a tight start with restricted overtaking for a short while. When you see the monument, that's when you will be heading downhill and will be thankfull for the grip of a studded shoe. After the climb back up, you return by the same path on which you ran out. Pub just over the road, enjoy.
Good advice Ady.
I will be in the Mudclaws as is a bit too boggy for the Walsh's.
Make yourself know Sowood I will be in a Stainland lions vest and calling for a beer.
forecast suggests hopefully will miss the rain...but it's only a forecast![]()
