Somehow my time seems a lot slower than I remembered - did they start the clock early?
My time was as my watch confirmed.

I must've just been slow throughout after (by my standards) a much too leisurely start. Looking at times it appears both Brett & Antisocial overtook me on the descent from the steps and pulled well away (I was 132nd).

And, same question as last year, did anyone garmin the course?
    You got yours in first.
After recceing last week along the fence/skyline path I chose the lower path follwed by heather this week because slower clubmates beat me to the trig last week. The lower path was much drier than the top one - but I guess the top avoids the heather

    Guick
I should not give away secrets, but after the Cross head for the two towers, cutting the coner of course and follow the wall, leads you right in to the trig.
PS. Don't tell anyone from Lancashire
    60:10 and they don't have me as a V60

I like that GD, it would explain a quite a few losses of time for people over the years............

Bob, this might explain your time problem?

Guick - I Garmin'd the course - it came in as exactly 9k with 394m of height gain (404m of descent so I must have shrunk by 10m during the race!). Was there anything else you were wanting? A

Does it mention anything about them being blind? That's my only chance for a fair maiden

    Morgan,

I'm looking forward to doing this one as I missed it last year. After Cowpers Cross I think I know some good lines, but the run from the Badgers Stone across to Swastika Stone and back could do with some reccing I think. I just hope it's not as foggy as it was on the day of the Rombalds Stride.
