    That was good fun - something about sploshing through mud appeals to my inner child. Even taking a tumble on the final furlong & being caked in mud & blood flowing impressively from what was just a little nick added to the pleasure.

    Thank you to Batman, his SO & marshalls for organising the race.

    Well done to Daleside in pausing her race to assist a stricken runner who had taken a far more serious fall on the descent of the Pike.

    2nd successive race where I've managed to hit the jackpot in winning a spot prize - who needs the euro lottery - pah !!!

    I was scrolling through the photos earlier and saw Manhar. Glad you're back and enjoying the Calderdale mud!

    God...i cant believe how much im aching after ysturdays race.

    I passed fleeter after about 1/2 miles....and he caught me up again about 1/4 mile from the finish

    I didnt even see either of you until the finish.....my situation was much the same with Mezza
