First time on this one for me, nice fast course and really enjoyed it.Nightmare with me Inov8 laces though which came undone three times on the run despite a good tug on em before start.....

Many, many thanks to Rod and his team for such a wonderful race.
Apols to (most of) the marshalls, as I forgot to thanks you as I ran past....I was breathing out of my ar5e so didn't have the energy! Thanks for your help. Great to see all of you at the race, lots of smiley faces.
A nice slow bike over followed by a nice run, wrong line at the end, started off next to Anne J, ended up what seemed like miles behind. Thought I'd have learned to take the correct line by now, d'oh. Grrrrrrrrrr
    Nice steady bike back.
Part B of the plan, wedding tonight in the Midlands, then Cheshire Cat 100 sportive tomorrow. It's all going to plan, yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Bring it on

Enjoyed that and have the scratches to prove it.
Thanks to Rod and the team for a great little race - though maybe not so little now, with 119 starters.

What's this I hear about Tom trying to outflank the FRA rules on juniors by reconfiguring the course as an 'AL' ?

Yeah well what happened was i was running with Anne Johnson and i decided i would outwit her high level of local knowledge by taking a path that had no shoe prints on it. The path split in two so instead of taking the path that led to the finish i beared left into the next valley. Realised i was wrong and turned back thrashing through the heather
I finished 4 minutes behind Anne in the end oh and i got outsprinted by flightless bird
