The more the merrier Rhino!
The 2 extra sponsors should please the majority of fell runners, especially in the junior races.
There is a gathering afterwards for race helpers and others associated with the races and the Fund in the Taps from 9.00 pm.
I believe that Dick Courchee will say a few words about the Race and its history.
I'm looking forward to this it looks like it will be a good evening weather-wise.
I ran the route on Sunday morning (or my version of it anyway) and it was pretty dry up there. Guess it will have got a bit wetter with the rain yesterday, but it should be quite quick for those who can find the right lines. I'll be interested to see how much variance there is is route choice.
Crikey - that was chilly! Didn't expect to be able to scrape ice off the registration tent in May!
Great race, although the boulder field in the last half mile was a bit sneaky and I took some awful lines. Room for improvement next year!
Really enjoyed this last night, although I might have finished higher up the field if I'd realised it started at 7:15 not 7:30. That climb up to the Badger Stone is lonely when you're on your own, and the laughter of the organisers is still ringing in your ears.
