aw what great feedback from you all, thank you . Yes it was a great day and we have the best turnout this year!! people have been very kind and very generous with the brew donations this year all the money raised from the race goes to some of the sixth form children at Calder high who are trying to raise £22,500 for a trip to Uganda to help the children over there.

Thanks for turning out and we hope you have enjoyed it, time to make a fresh coffee now and start imputting the results, as it the holidays im not sure how quick Brett will get them on the website so if you need them for your club champs send us a message or ring us and we will get them to you.

    thanks again the Godsman gang.

What a really good friendly race this is. It's got a nice chilled atmosphere with everyone drinking their brews and chomping their biscuits discussing which way they came back over the moor ... "how many place did you lose or gain etc. etc." What a great record breaking run from the "Gray" man. All in all a great day out with money raised for a worthy cause. Results will be on our website at www.cvfr.co.uk/races/midgley-moor/ just a soon as possible.

To be honest the way the "Gray Man" is running he deserves another Yorkshire Vest. He was way in front but Tim Ellis was actually closer to him but just lost sight of where Karl went on the route choice back across the Moor and as he got lost here last year he decided to wait for some others to turn up to follow. Sally gave Helen a run for her money today. Everytime Helen turned round Sal was on her heals. Sal had to stop for a "Paula Radcliffe" nature break so just lost the time to Helen. Great day for the club and it was just so nice enjoying a cuppa and lots of chit chat. Hope you enjoyed your race today Mrs S.
