Well done, Martyn, on getting so far in that bad weather, a good training run for when you go again in, hopefully, better weather.

Hard luck Martyn, so many things need to go right on a BG. When I saw the weather I thought it would be tough. respect for giving it a go though. you will be sronger and wiser for the experience...

Well done for getting so far, Martyn. I was on the Welsh 1000s yesterday which got considerably changed by the RO due to weather and can imagine what is was like up there. You'll do it next time. Let me know when that is and whether you need any help.
Tough luck Martyn, there's nothing you can do about the weather.
This is spot on.
I had a similar experience on my first attempt but learnt a lot from it and the confidence boost knowing it was just weather and bad choices/decisions on my part that stopped me, made my second attempt a more enjoyable and successful day.
Stick at it mate, you'll do it next time.![]()
Quote of the week from Andy Gibbons on Martyns leg 4.
"I'M JUST GOING FOR A POWER DUMP."
Any one got any news from the lad from the North East who set out at 11pm Friday. What ever time he got round in or not he deserves a medal.
According to a friend on Facebook two lads got round.. Roger and Adrian, not sure if any of them are from the North East though
