    Today's Quote

    If you love two people at the same time, choose the second one.
    Because if you really loved the first one, you would not have fallen for the second.

    Hang on a minute orange pony that quote contradicts itself. It has told us at the beginning that you are in love with two people then in the second part it says you didn't really love the first one meaning the first part of the quote is untrue.

    Am I right? Or am I just being Skollish?

    Oh and the other thing - and there is always another thing - is he saying that it is impossible for a woman to love two Men , or a Man to love two Women equally at the same time? If he is then I'd say there should be no such thing as a large proportion of affairs that have occured.

    That should get you all thinking? Well some of you. Well may be a few. Or perhaps one or two.:closed:

    I think the crux lies in 'because if you REALLY loved the first one...' I don't think it is a contradiction at all...

    We could have a lengthy conversation about polyamory... Then again, we could not :closed:

    And today's quote comes from His Holiness the Dalai Lama:

    “Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck.”

    Do you think it is possible that the young Dalai Lama read Aesop's Fables? Wasn't it Aesop who wrote;

    '' Be careful what you wish for it might just come true ''.

    Essentially the same idea.
