I plan to be there having done it once before in the clag. Navigation is definitely a requirement for this race or you can find yourself running up the wrong hill as has happened more than once. With it being in the British Champs this year the field will be significantly bigger than normal but I still wouldn't plan to rely on following the people in front.

Thanks WP, I was serious but no longer am. The reason being that I started a new post as this post did not appear in the list having been relegated during the 2 months since the info was posted. I think my new post was merged with this, hence the info provided is directly above mine. Therefor what you see is not always how it actually is!!

There is a limit of 200 for this British Championship race, now full, not evident in the FRA Calendar or Fellrunner, closing date 30th June. It would help if those unable to take up their place could contact the organiser, so that those on the waiting list - myself included - can be given the chance to run.

While this is probably due to mountain rescue and/or conditions of access, it seems a shame to limit entry to 200 runners, particularly since over 350 successfully completed the comparable Great Lakes Run a couple of weeks ago.

I've had to pull out due to dodgykneeitis  - I don't think this is quite the race for a rehab jog! I've e-mailed the organiser so there's one off the waiting list!

I emailed the organiser on Tuesday to tell them I could no longer run but I haven't heard anything as yet.
