    I'm not sure about the merits of lots of marmite or other yeast based foodstuffs, but Tesco or Boots kids insect repellent is pretty good for midges and not too stingy. I seem to recall the route being pretty clear to follow last year (although as a confirmed mid-packer I had a good number of people to follow!)

    The positive being I was ahead of Mrs Stagger who I wholly expected to be running with tonight!!!
    A cracking little race, loved the bogs, Avon Skin So Soft (I'm not an agent) kept me midge free if a little pungent!! Thanks to all :thumbup:

    Mrs.Stagger pointed you out, you were well in front on the climb and never saw you after that, good running Livi:thumbup:

    Bog diving for my lost shoe was a new experience. Quite a laugh. All thoughts of racing went out the window.

    I barely recognised The Grandmaster....Steve I think you've run off half your body mass!

    I forgot to use my midge repellant!

    Good to see you too Stef, looking well after your troubles, I've only lost about 3 pounds since you last saw me, most of that went on midge repellent!
