No idea but it is pretty mature forest so probably not too nice to go through to get onto the Coiregrogain track.

An alternative to the main path might be to head south from Narnain summit towards the Narnain boulders.

When i reccied it i missed the path through forest and came blundering through undergrowth taller than me (that'll be the aforementioned 'mature' forest), also fell down some waterfalls. It took rather ages and as there is a perfectly good path, so i recommend taking it

I don't know for sure either. I've been up that coire, a few years ago, making for A'Chrois rather than Narnain. There was a track, I think, leading towards the mouth of the corrie from the top of the old tramway but after that... mostly grassy but the headwall is dotted with outcrops (?). You may have to go down to the first col on the ridge between Ben Narnain and A'Chrois in order to find a clear route down.

Just to gate crash this thread with a "Lost Property Request".

Me and Helen Elmore both left our INOV8's Mudclaw's outside our car doors in the main carpark. If anyone found two pairs (a 6.5 and a 4) and wouldn't mind picking them up and sending them back we'd be more than willing to pay postage.
    Thanks, Nicky

My legs were gone by the time I reached narnia. Mark Roberts veered left (SE) off crags quickly then down side of a stream. It was not easy running but no coordination and cramping contributed. Eventually reached treees (tears of relief) and picked up a trod (undefined) but ok through forest across first track and down to main. May have been a bit quicker but would need to run the normal way to compare. Today I need a wheel chair. Too extreme? Rhetorical q.

Top 20 finish in a quality field is very creditable. Well done.
Old age setting in though after your mid week birthday.
