I'd like to have seen a few more PB's to be honest, especially in the athletics and swimming. Pity I missed the 1500 its my favourite race I think, that and the 10,000.

Bit of a shame that due to a fell race I missed Bolt doing his thing tonight. I thought of him as I slogged through heather and bog....didn't make me go any faster though

It's the gold which makes me proudest to be British. The fact a lad can come from a war torn country as a child and be give the opportunity to become Olympic Champion says a huge amount about us as a nation. It brought a tear to my eye.

Similarly for a lot of kids, I bet dressage is the only way out of the ghetto. :w00t:

Dissapointing Danbert. Sport is for all, there is one for every one. My daughter started riding years ago, she now plays badminton and has been asked to join the county squad. her choice.
