Watching the race walking and it's really frustrating - I keep wanting to scream JUST RUN!!!!! at the TV....it's a really strange event!

I've just seen you described as a "bothersome, muttering cynic" further on! I've got to admit it brought a smile to my face I was quite glad to see the DDR record go, another achievement of an oppressive regime filed away into the archives.

20 k in 1.25 is pretty quick - if you just look at their top half they are "running"; once they cross the finish line most broke into a run for a few steps as they slowed down. Apparently most of them are running if viewed in slow motion - but they can only be judged to have run if it is obvious to the naked eye! I though quite a few of them were running!
