Pendle Fell Race

Hi All

thinking of doing the Pendle race for the first time this next Saturday, 06/04/13 - can anyone provide a brief summary of the race/route and does anyone know what the conditions are like currently?

I was up there yesterday on the South side that will get the most sun and I went up through the fields from barley to the summit and back the same way - no problems running. I don't know what the big end side is like though?

Took 3 of the Bowland ladies round the race route this evening. Only snow / ice were a few slushy patches on the "ramp" that leads down to the bottom of the BE. The actual trod up BE was very solid and stable due to the frozen ground.
As we descended from the trig, a huge posse of Barlickers were about to descend the "ramp", it's one of their club champs races.

They are some very high tech results. I think the the category filters are good, but didn't really want to know i was last M23!
