    BG attempt June 15

I've decided to go for it, leaving midnight on Friday 14 (so running on Sat 15). I plan to leave on a 23 hr schedule, clockwise and see how it goes. This is an appeal for some help to carry a bit of kit and if anybody would like to volunteer to stop me walking round in circles so much the better. Reply here or PM me if you prefer. Cheers Richard.

Midnight is actually the next day 11:59:59 is the last second in Friday. Then it goes to 00:00:00 which is Saturday. Had a Google on that and there is some right rubbish being said by people.

Hi Richard, I'm already down to support a round that weekend otherwise I would have been happy to help out. I'm doing leg 2 with Bill on Friday evening. He's going at 7pm I think. I'm sure you will get round no problem after seeing how you went a few weeks ago.

Only a week to go and I'm still stuck for support. Legs 1 and 2 in particular but any help anywhere would be gratefully received.

If I was free next weekend, I'd offer my help water-carrying, but have commitments, sorry. Good luck Richard.

I am assisting Andy Whittaker (Matlock AC) on a 22 hr schedule. I am supporting leg 1 & 2 and have talked him into a 7pm start because I supported a sub 18 hrs leg 2 schedule in Feb (in snow and sub zero etc). We have 3 supporters on leg 2 and maybe more on leg 1. This info may assist your cause. Andy is capable of exceeding a 22 hr schedule (did his Joss easily last year) so I expect early completions to these legs. The beauty of the early start is the sociable completion time!!
