The rattle of donations just now reminded me to post this. His road and cross country club, Ilkeston Running Club are donating the proceeds of their annual 'Double or Quits' race to the two charities. 31 August, 5 miles or 10 miles over a muti-terrain course in Shipley Park, Derbyshire.

Even the quitters distance is a bit far for me these days! :w00t: Might have to put this beer down and get some training in.

It's nearly a year since Darren was taken from us and the Donations are still coming in.

I went down on Tuesday with another team member to pick up another cheque for £500 from Ilkeston Running club from the Double or Quits race.

We (Mark and myself) joined in with the club 5k handicap and hopefully performed well. Daz would have beaten me anyway as he always did.

We took down some Rescue Ale to give out as spot prizes. I'm sure he would have liked that.

Many thanks to every one for your continued support.
