In the online FRA calendar this is down as being in Northumberland/Durham, assuming it's the same Pendle in April.

    Pretty sure it's not Northumberland..

Thought I'd point it out in case anyone (else) was confused.

After some minor course concerns around the use of a stile, they put it out to tender and Northumberland was the winning bidder. Unfortunately, the organisers had a long-standing agreement with the original parking field, so you'll need to allow an extra 2 hours for the shuttle bus to get to Durham.

Entries are open and it is the usual venue, although Mens and Ladies races will be split and run separately.

Entry sorted. No parking issues for me ~ I'll be jogging the whole half mile to get there.

Is there enough women to run a separate race, looking at last year results will it not be a bit lonely for the top end ?

I'm in! Good job I saw this thread pop up!

What's the limit on numbers? Trying to drag a few more Abbeys to join me at the Champs races this year

Looking at the Champs races from last year, there were 80ish women at both S races last year - http://www.fellrunner.org.uk/results.php?id=1962 and http://www.fellrunner.org.uk/results.php?id=2044

I guess the main thing is that it's nearly 100 less runners who'd normally be in the men's race - that's the point of splitting it.

It also allows the ladies to race their opponents. 80 ladies in a field with 400. Blokes may hardly see each other. We may actually see a video of the ladies race as well
