I'll see you there, Andy. I like May; first the Glossop 3-day then the Hayfield 3-day. Same good weather for both this year as well.
Will you have Hayfield champs forms tonight? I must get them entered.

Hayfield Posse you are ace! Love you all.

Such pragmatic application of FRA new rules by the RO and Runners here in the peak district too for short races in such blistering hot weather. Refreshing! Nice to welcome some tourists from Calderdale, Nottingham, Reading, etc

BritNick - you got any photos to upload yet? I was probably too far behind you this year to be in focus, but would love to see them nevertheless.

Wily-Vet - you were taking photos today (but stationary) above the rickety stile as well - did you catch my weight break it (large straw that broke the camels back)?

Aye, great little race yesterday at the Lantern Pike.
I was one of the Calderdale tourists.
Great race and thank you to all concerned.

Agreed, what a fantastic long weekend of racing that was. Thanks to all the organisers and helpers who facilitate such suffering, exhilaration and joy, and kudos to Steve T for his amazing results service.

OB1, love your post. Good to see you back out there racing. Back to work with a big cheesy smile indeed. I'm still on a high today.

I've posted all three sets of photos. Should be easy to find here. The one of Dan Chan flying back down Lantern Pike on his way to the win is spectacular. I had no idea what I'd captured until I got home and downloaded to the computer.

Stagger, great to chat with you yesterday.

Great photo of Dan coming off Lantern Pike! I hope the 3 pics of my backside didn't ruin your set. A great morning out and the first sunburn of the year.

    Still got a day later.

BritNick - really, really, excellent photos, better than any 'stationary' photographer.
None of me in the Senior race (I was behind you, outside spitting distance) but a few of me (gut out) cheering in the Juniors.

Stagger, I am gutted I didn't know you were there to have a proper chat to.
I only realise now (98% sure) that you were the CVFR I was chatting to as we hit the only bit of track/bridleway on the way up after 3-5 minutes.
I was the 'Dreadlocked Gloss runner' (iin a fake winter tan). I asked you where you were from and you said 'CV but not one of the 2 elite'.
If I had realised it was you I would have been over to clean your boots at the finish.

Scouse_FR - absolutely awesome run and fantastic photo of you descending - one for the family album for sure.

    Aaaah, again,
