Got given a bottle of Arran Single Malt Barrel Reserve today by the owner of a holiday cottage in the village as a thank you for "keeping an eye on it"!

Trouble is I don't like whisky and didn't have the balls to ask him if I could have a gallon of Timothy Taylor Landlord instead.

What do I do with it?

When I say I don't like whisky, I haven't tasted any for at least 20 yrs.

This one is a very pale colour so I'm thinking it might be might be quite mellow.

There is a whisky shop in Bakewell called The Wee Dram, never been in, but they quite often do tastings in local pubs.
Perhaps, rather than opening it to see what it is like, I should call into the Wee Dram to see if he has one open that I could taste.

Failing that I suppose I could use it as Hand Sanitiser!
