A rather brutal misprint on page 6: the Junior Fellrunner Editor is named as "David Litter". I presume he is no relation to the "Dave Littler" who is listed as one of the proofreaders.

I've finally found time to start the latest edition of Fellrunner, and was pleased to see Mr B and Graham's excellent articles.

Graham, nice to see your favourite word getting an outing. I had just a few days earlier introduced sprezzatura while discussing magicians and sleight of hand.

Mr B, next time I'm lost in a race I can tell myself I'm doing it to build character having read your article.

    Well thank you.

I have lowered my gaze in (patently false) modesty.

Enjoyed Mr B's article about his ordeal at High Cup Nick.

Although surely it should be in the "fellracer" section of the mag...?!?

Issue number 135 has come through my letterbox. New editor, new design. But not all the contributors are new; Graham Breeze is in, as usual. Llani Boy also has an article, and is that a photo of Mr Brightside's greatest moment in the double-page spread on pages 112/113?

Please ignore the b****x in my second sentence above. I'm not sure why I thought the new design must have meant that the editor was new. Anyway, for what it's worth, I do rather like the new design.

Well Anthony editors do not last as long as they used to so it was not improbable. I identify 15 editors since time began and the number of issues produced by each is as follows:

    8 - 7 - 5 - 5 - 9 - 29 - 18 - 21 - 4 - 1 -9 - 5 - 1 - 3 and Tory is currently on 5.

I think there is a mathematical word for that sort of curve. Gaussian?

The three longest serving editors are Neil Denby (for almost ten years), Dave Jones and Britta. Two issues had one-off editors which distorted the trend.

Looking good so far after a dip in and I'm glad there isn't any print on top of photos which I found difficult to read.

Not forgetting GeoffB's article on the Arran Mountain Marathon.
