Good run from everyone at Dale, some excellent individual performances and 17th in the team event is very respectable. Good job I noticed you in the last quarter mile Danbert, I think you had switched into silent approach. The MTL next weekend will feel like a walk in the park!?!

Hopefully we'll have you back in action before too long (maybe Woodbank in 2 weeks?).
Didn't the smell make you gag though when you got near him?
got an appointme to see a specialist on the 22nd fe, so i won't be running until i've been given the all clear from him.
dissapointing i know, but theres plenty more northerns ahead of me.

Come on Chaddy stop this on line abuse of Owen, it's becoming unpleasant and frankly quite offensive. I know (or at least i hope) you're only joking, but i'm sure i'm not the only forumite who finds it's unkind and objectionable.

I was hoping to sidle up to you quietly but the crowd gave me away. I think you were that bit too strong for me though. Well done.

Thanks for the support Chaddy and everyone else.. it was really appreciated.

Well done to the NOEAA i thought the course was a model cross country course. What does everyone reckon the distance was though, i've logged it as about 6 and 1/2 miles?

Particularly well done to TDMA and Wily Vet from the Glossopdale branch of the forum, who both had blistering runs today.

TDMA watch your back, i'm after you in Sunderland matey. If you're travelling up there in our care in the community battle bus, remember what happened to Alexander Litvinenko.
    Cheers danbert

I thought I was behind you all the way as i started off deliberately slowly as to not get caught up in the cavalry charge at the start. I think the mainly firmish going played to my strengths more than Boggart Hole Clough, but i realise you will be a worthy foe come the Nationals.

The loser gets the first drinks in on saturday night.

Having seen the results and the gap between us i think i'm psychologically beaten before we even start in Sunderland.

I won't be lulled into any false senses of security by your reverse psychology Danbert. I havn't forgot how strong you were at Rossendale and Boggart Hole Clough

I know you will give me a good race in mackem land (especially if the going is heavy).

Thought Gareth Raven's run was totally inspiring yesterday. I was well impressed. Another half lap and I think he'd have swallowed up Andi. But well done to all.

He had that half lap to play with early on but he was back slumming it with the second group! Fortune favours the brave I reckon but still a good effort to nearly get the win.

Just washed my spikes after Saturday and if everyone who raced took as much mud away as I did there must be servere erosion in Heaton Park
