    Back to the original question: all 3 of my children are currently wearing Lidl waterproofs and thriving. I’m in a 10year Gore Tex and wet. The youngest’s set has been through 3 children and been recently re-Nikwaxed and is like new!

    All well and good Felltrumpet but what we really want to know is whether or not they can zip them up themselves

    The 2yo can, 4yo can’t be bothered, 7yo doesn’t want to wear it anyway. All would fail the kit check anyway as they don’t have taped seams.
