Nah, I'm just appointing them
You should know Graham. You’re a moderator now

"...as dry as the Atacama desert".
I don't think it works for a moderator to be involving themselves in the contentious discussions of which there are a few.
It must be difficult to moderate effectively when taking a position, not appearing impartial, which is a criticism made of Fiona Bruce on Question Time.

I'd be happy to be a moderator (assuming nobody else had a problem with that, and someone gave me a brief rundown of exactly what I should be doing).
Well I went out on a club training session last night to find out that one of my long-time clubmates has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease... Which kind of puts the occasional forum nonsense in perspective... And I think a few of us last night at the session vowed that we'd never moan about our trivial running injuries again!
Or Graham Breeze on the Brexit threadFiona Bruce on Question Time.
There you go Graham: you've finally been compared to Fiona Bruce.
You can now retire.
....it's all downhill from here.
I volunteer to moderate.
If Stagger can be reinstated to this forum.
I volunteer to moderate but only if we agree to deselect moderators who add caveats to their offers to moderate.
