I have often thought that it is a sign of true greatness when one's surname is used as a verb. But what does it signify when that name-verb starts being abbreviated?

Well, I was spectating at Long Mynd and knew that he wouldn't miss Edale the following day, and there he was!

... and with great results in both.
    Keith Holmes also did both.

    Good work Darren!

It's also impressive that he became 5 years younger over night! Must be something to do with the clocks changing!

It's always an absolute pleasure seeing Yannis out and about, what a guy.

We can't forget my friend Chris Jackson who also did 'the double' and slapped my arse on both occasions.

The results Jack Wood achieved are mind blowing... Such a talent and a smashing lad.

    Well done Jack and Chris.

Cheers to Nic Barber who was out spectating and ran with me for a while offering encouragement and general chit-chat.

Regardless of doing Long Mynd or not, the new Edale route is harder than the original. Everyone I spoke to also felt the same.

    Cheers.
