Yeah bad news about old Robbie,

Its his birthday today you know , hes 33 years old.

I was given Ammoxicillin for my Sinusitus.

Hows the chest do you still sound like you have swallowed a whistle.

Im not running till Friday, gonna rid myself of every last bug in my body.

    More like darth vader!!

Got an early finish tomorrow and was hoping to head out onto the hills, but I've now learnt my lesson and will wait until the weekend.

You mean I could have another four days of it yet? Was hoping to be running again tomorrow, but just been out walking, and I don't think it would be such a good idea. Fingers crossed i'll be back running on Tuesday then.

Well it's nearly a week on and still no running; I'm supposed to be doing a road 1/2 marathon Sunday (and probably will because I've paid for it and I'm tight) but am only now just considereing it as a real possibility (albeit done very slowly) rather than a 'no way'. Apart from the very painful sore throat, one of the worst bits has been the days on end not being able to hear/feeling as though my head has been stuffed with cotton wool...hate it.

    Cheers - Raymond

The race does not always go to the swift, but to the ones who keep running
