Well done to Stringman and his merry band of helpers

Yes, thanks to all for a great, friendly race - always good to get encouragement from Jim at the White House and an excuse to eat my annual chip butty

Had a smashing time at Withins despite being full of man-flu!! What a lovely race.Energy levels were severely depleted but I think I managed to finish halfway and with a smile on my face.

Particularly enjoyed the waterfall crossing...very deceptive, I put my foot down on what I thought was something solid and ended up waist deep in the water

Felt crap on sunday morning with a cold, took my running gear not really feeling like doing it but my lad was doing the U8 race. After he won it i thought sod it, let's have a plod round. Felt better as the race went on. No idea where i finished or what time, but i'm not bothered as the cold seems to have gone now
Could this be the cure for the common cold, 7m of mud, bog and waterfalls?
Or was it them Curlywurlies, Guinness and chips after
