I wish! I think it'll be my traditional sluggish start to the cross country season.

Good turnout at the Red Rose today - bit of a "Hybrid" cross country course with an estimated 30% on gravel tracks, but a good run out. Now I know how un fit I am, it's onwards and upwards from here

There's a few errors in the results which will get scurinised as usual at the Wednesday night meeting, if not before.

I'm so unfit I can't even respond to your post properly

Also I can't believe that the Red Rose Cross Country League would put out fixtures that clash with parkrun :w00t:

I have a nasty feeling that the Teesside and Durham league will clash with a lot of the Esk Valley Winter Series of races - most unfortunate.
Tomorrow's curtain raiser clashes with the UK up Orienteering Final which I'm going to instead, and also the Kielder Marathon, so my club'll be light a few runners.

Really enjoyed that WP....tracks were a bit of a pain as i just dragged my spikes out of the garage where theyve been rotting since Bury xc last year and i think they were 15mm! Plenty mud though and it was nice to be racing again.
