Beautiful - you a trackie now- where do you train?

I went to Planet X today just to browse the bike and eye up the Sram red groupset, walked out with a SL carbon bike with full dura ace (shop model), drove round for 5 mins and took it back. Am still looking at what to exchange it for, do I go for an SL frame and full Sram red with better wheels or a Nanolight frame and a Red gears but FSA chainset and generic brakes and wheels?

Got to hand it to the long suffering salesman he was very good with me. Though I was buying a reduced shop model he did change every bit of kit that had a mark on it (after I pointed each mark out), then he didn't punch me when I brought the bike back.

Seems to be Planet-X at the moment. Headline spec, but not a full groupo, brakes and chainset are always cheaper. The CNC brakes seem to be viewed as light, but not very good. The sales pitch on the Nanolight frame is also a little odd. They seem to be making out that it's their design, but actually it's just a generic chinese design with their badges on. It might be a good frame, but I think their advertising is getting a bit off.

Not quite a trackie yet Anti, but getting there... rode the bike in that setup this am, with drops and without disc last night... The bars are a bit long for me, so need to try it again with a shorter stem. May leave the bars out of the sale if they don't fit with the shorter stem

LOL! I have my heavy Specialized Tricross for Simon's fell and beyond!

By the way, I train at Newport Velodrome... feel very privileged to have a top quality velodrome within 45 minutes driving distance of me!
