Is the short Peris full? I have an envelope ready for posting right in front of me and am wondering whether to bother

    Re: Peris

When i spoke to Mike at Tryfan downhill he said he had 120 pre entries in and 10 on the early start going off with (half peris) gang. I had not seen any entry limits but glad i didn't leave it till the day to enter. I don't think the peris gets a big crowd usually (I'm not sure as I'm still a bit new to the game) but i'm sure it has a small field from what folk have told me. Shame as the route is bloody brilliant. Proper racing ground. I imagine a big field causes carnage up the first inclines.

Strange... finally a decent field.. its like changing thhe TDH record...

The fact is even 50 good runners make this too competitive... In fact 20... too congested.. hence why Craig Jones favours the inlcines.

Sorry Dan, you're going to have to stay in the zone without me. I've not entered this year. I tend to keep away from the champs races. I find things too 'busy'. I'll be back next year when the numbers are back to normal...
