His sponsorship and what he decides to do doesn't worry me in the slightest and I have high regard for his achievements.

But as a Salomon athlete to say he is having lots of injuries and in virtually the same sentence praise the new shoes he is using surely raises ???s.

Not very well thought out praise for the shoes, whether they are the cause of not.

On the subject of injury, I'm not surprised (and nor is he, from the gist of the article) that moving from running on mountains to running on the track is causing problems. I imagine that Mo Farah might get injured if he decided to run up the Matterhorn.
Here. Neither in a race environment, so I guess not official, but I'll take his word for it.

It's just some quotes from him stuck together. The stuff in Grough is lifted from the Salomon website. In one section he's talking about his prep, the transition to running flat and some injuries. In the next section he's saying he's got some swanky Salomon shoes.

Certainly wouldn't put me off buying a pair (though the inevitable £100+ price tag does).

KJ's dropped now. Out with knee pain after about 10hrs and 134km. I blame the shoes.

Back to easier stuff now. I don't think he's run up Aconcagua yet . . .
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

Damn! Just realised he has done Aconcagua. But I'm pretty sure he hasn't been up Beacon Hill.

According to KJ on Instagram he actually dropped out with chest pains and feeling dizzy. He was taken to hospital for tests and although he’s feeling okay now he has more tests to come

As this run was at sea-level perhaps his body is not used to the air containing so much oxygen!
