after rubbin on half a tube of deep heat , and applyin freeze spray + ralgex onto my lower back and tiger balm to my legs, my club mates were happy they had done enough to get me around the XC race this mornin, i set off in agony, every stride was pain
did a good run mind, 1 st for club and a pat on the back at the end literally OUCH
not runnin is not an option at our club
    apparently its character building

    Re: Todays Injuries

Was playing football with my 7 y.o and a couple of his friends and I think I pulled/strained some muscle at the bottom of my right hamstring. Thing is now a day later the apin is actually behind the knee and also at the top of the calf... perhaps I'm getting too old for this football lark.

Not sure that these are really bad enough to class as injuries - but here you go anyway!

One blister on back from headlamp rubbing against bra at the orienteering night event. Will have to adjust the straps next week (of headlamp!)

Bashed thumb from somewhere on Kinder Trial. My hands were too cold to notice I'd done anything. Just saw blood when I took my gloves off and it now doesn't want to move very easily. These will maybe distract me from the real sore legs which I am dreading tomorrow or the day after. (It was a long hard race at Kinder - very good though, with plenty of scrummy soup and cakes afterwards.

How come your headtorch was rubbing against your bra. I thought they were attached to different parts of your anatomy. Are you a contortionist?
