I know it's been asked - & answered - before, but I can't find the threads. I'm happy to do either road, trail or hill races. I'll be by the Tarn Gorge, SE Aveyron, 12640.

Cheers for that, the nearest while I'm there is the Trails des Colombes which is 50 miles away, that may need a bit of negotiation. Are there any nearer?

Do I remember you saying once that you are - were - near Clermont Ferrand? In 2011 we were staying nearby & I did l'Envol de la Perdrix at Super-Besse, nicked a vets prize & was interviewed on the podium. My family pissed themselves.

We're a lot closer to Lyon than Clermont-Ferrand, but there's some great running to be done over there in Auvergne.

Yes, I have heard the local vet runners still tell the tale of how some weird British runner managed to beat them on their own turf, and yet he didn't know his first name from his surname.
